(adj) used to describe an extraordinary thing, event, or set of circumstances
Parents, please join me in congratulating the 5th grade team of Ms. Cecily Cooper Ms. Joan Alexis and the CCA 5th graders as we proudly report to you that as of this writing, 100% of the fifth graders—a total of 8—who applied for admission to the Baltimore County Middle Magnet School programs at Sudbrook and Deer Park Middle Schools either were accepted (6 children) or are on the waiting list (2 children) at these prestigious public schools!  When you consider the stringent admission criteria and standards set for these institutions, this is indeed a phenomenal accomplishment!  Also, we believe that an equally favorable report is in store as we await the results of the remaining students who applied for Chapelgate and Liberty Christian schools. Again, kudos and congratulations to Ms. Cooper and our stellar 5th grade class of 2008!

READY? SET? REGISTERED?
Tomorrow, Friday, March 14th is the established timeline when registration fees for all retuning CCA students are due. Please remember that seating is limited and that only your payment secures a seat for the 2008-2009 school year.  Please don’t miss this important deadline so that we may begin finalizing our enrollment for next year.

SOME FACTS ABOUT FACTS, (Inc.)
Q: I got a “NSF” return. Does the FACTS, Inc. tuition management company go back the next day and attempt another withdrawal?
A: NO. FACTS, Inc. collects TUITION ONLY on the 5th or 20th of the month. Therefore, no attempt is made to collect tuition until the following 5th or 20th—whichever is next after your scheduled date. However, FACTS, Inc. does attempt to collect the NSF fee  ($25) on the next business day following a failed (NSF) withdrawal. They do not wait for the next tuition-cycle collection date to attempt to collect the $25 fee.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

COLONIAL CHRISTIAN ACADEMY INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSING POLICY
In the case of inclement weather, CCA follows the BALTIMORE COUNTY Public Schools procedures. Please consult the local radio, television, and internet notices for the county school closings. If BCPS is closed for weather, CCA is closed. A delayed opening will cause CCA to open late as well--including Extended Care. A 2-hour delay, for example, means that Extended Care will not be available until 9:00 am, with the instructional day beginning at 10:30 am. If BCPS announces an early closing, CCA will adjust its schedule the same number of hours--with NO Extended Aftercare. Due to the volume of calls that would be necessary, CCA cannot call individual parents for closings. Again, please watch and listen to the local media outlets for the BALTIMORE COUNTY Public Schools procedure for the affected day(s). Thank you.
