A SPECIAL EDITION UPDATE FOR A SPECIAL WEEK

This is indeed a special week! Please note the “special” notes below for this week’s events:

Tuesday, 3/18—Easter Program: Please plan to have children arrive by at least 6:30 , which is also the time that the general PTF meeting which starts. ATTIRE:ALL CHILDREN SHOULD BE DRESSED IN BLACK (skirts & trousers) AND WHITE (shirts & blouses). Boys should wear RED NECK TIES and girls should wear RED HAIR BOWS if they were hair adornments.

Thursday, 3/20—Bowl-A-Thon and Easter Egg Hunt: Please read and adhere to the sequence of events listed on back of this page. Please plan for your child to not be late on Thursday. Please DO NOT take your CCA child straight from home to the bowling alley—they cannot be marked “present” unless they report to school first. ALL children should dress in their PE uniform sweats on Thursday. Bowlers MUST wear white-soled tennis shoes and clean white gym socks to bowl. In order to move things along quickly, we are not doing shoe rental.

Question: May we (the parents) rent shoes for the children?

Answer: We ask that you do not, again in order to give everyone a chance to bowl. (They may bowl in the clean white sox, if necessary) Bowl-A-Thon pledges ARE welcomed after Thursday’s event! Please encourage your pledges to send in their contribution even if it will arrive after this week.

“IT AIN’T OVER ‘TILL THE FAT LADY BOWLS!”

Just a reminder that our annual fundraiser does not end with the Bowl-A-Thon! Pledges do continue to come in and you are asked to encourage your children and family members to keep ‘em coming

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Please scroll to the bottom of this page to view CCA's Inclement Weather policy.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

COLONIAL CHRISTIAN ACADEMY INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSING POLICY
In the case of inclement weather, CCA follows the BALTIMORE COUNTY Public Schools procedures. Please consult the local radio, television, and internet notices for the county school closings. If BCPS is closed for weather, CCA is closed. A delayed opening will cause CCA to open late as well--including Extended Care. A 2-hour delay, for example, means that Extended Care will not be available until 9:00 am, with the instructional day beginning at 10:30 am. If BCPS announces an early closing, CCA will adjust its schedule the same number of hours--with NO Extended Aftercare. Due to the volume of calls that would be necessary, CCA cannot call individual parents for closings. Again, please watch and listen to the local media outlets for the BALTIMORE COUNTY Public Schools procedure for the affected day(s). Thank you.
