HAPPY NEW YEAR! ! !

Welcome back to another new calendar year and to the midyear portion of our academic year. We sincerely hope that each of our CCA families enjoyed a safe, happy, and restful holiday season.

We also ask that you note the upcoming changes and calendar events and adjustments, some of which are listed in today’s Parent Update.

 INCLEMENT WEATHER REMINDER

Please remember that CCA will follow the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) procedures for inclement weather closings.  In other words, if BCPS opens late, closes early, or closes for the day, CCA will follow suit. Any late opening affects Before Care as well (i.e., 2 hours late for school also means Before Care begins at 9—not at 7 am), and any early closing for weather means that there will be NO After Care. Due to the vast number of television, radio, and Internet media outlets, CCA cannot provide “on the air” or Internet advertisements of our opening/closing status. TECHNOLOGY POSITION UPDATE

We have not yet found an acceptable candidate for the position of part-time Technology Instructor despite holding several interviews over the holiday period. Please keep this need in fervent prayer that God will quickly provide another outstanding individual and dedicated Christian to meet this need.  Fortunately, Brother Clark will be able to continue teaching for us on Mondays, but for Tuesdays, there will be a . . .

“SIGNIFICANT” SCHEDULE CHANGE

The following classes were scheduled for an additional Technology class every Tuesday. Instead, they will receive an additional physical education period until we hire a qualified Technology teacher. PLEASE REMEMBER TO HAVE THE CHILDREN DRESS FOR AN ADDITIONAL GYM DAY ON TUESDAYS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE IF THEIR CLASS IS LISTED BELOW. The following classes will report for physical education on Tuesdays:
