2008-09 Technology Fee Letter |
|
Dear Parents:
With this, our last Parent Update . . .
. . . we announce with great pleasure that Colonial Christian Academy has joined the University of Richmond and Boston University in a technology partnership for the next three years. This partnership will provide our school with integrated curriculum for our students, technology training for our teachers, and access to a wealth of on-line educational websites maintained by the universities. Two certified technology coordinators from the program will be working with our staff and students to ensure an efficient implementation of the program.
We feel strongly that this partnership will provide the competitive advantage our students will need to succeed in their educational and career endeavors. This technology partnership is currently working with over 125 private schools across the country; many of them are fellow Christian schools.
Like all new initiatives, there is a cost to the program, but we are pleased that it will only require a $75 per child Technology Access Fee per year. This fee will be due and payable on TUESDAY, AUGUST 26 , 2008, the evening of our Parent Dinner and Orientation event. We feel this is a great value for such a strong and needed program.
Please join us in welcoming the University of Richmond and Boston University to our campus. We are confident this relationship will enhance and strengthen our existing curriculum at Colonial Christian Academy.
Sincerely,
A. Courtney (“Skip”) Lewis
Principal

Colonial Christian Academy is dedicated to providing a quality education from a Christian perspective. Our desire is for each student to display Competence, Character, and Compassion, as they grow in their understanding and love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God has charged each parent with the responsibility of preparing their child to handle the challenges they will face each day. He has ordained the family and the church with meeting this responsibility of preparing young people to live godly lives.
The school accommodates the family by providing qualified, trained individuals who will assist them in developing the necessary foundation. The faculty and staff take seriously the task of training each individual academically, physically, socially, and spiritually. We are committed to providing a quality, Christ-centered education for each student, which is rooted in God’s word. We desire to lay a strong foundation that will benefit the students throughout their educational experience.
The school board, faculty and administration appreciate your parental support and prayers as we seek to guide each student to develop Biblical standards of conduct in his/her life. We look forward to getting to know you and your family and being a part of what God is doing in your lives. In His Love and Service,
Your School Board, Principal, Faculty and Staff. |
