Hello Parents, Friends and Visitors!

 My name is Skip Lewis and I came to CCA following 35 challenging and richly rewarding years in the Baltimore City Public School System. Following my teaching years, I worked as a supervisor of special education programs. Most years however, were spent in school-based administration as assistant principal and principal. As principal my school and I were cited and awarded several times by the MSDE for the school’s continual growth and improvement. During those years, I was able to develop and hone an expertise in the monitoring, evaluation, and development of classroom instruction. It taught me that the most important aspect in learning is strong, well-planned teaching. I consider it my purpose and my duty to provide the means for CCA teachers to accomplish and maintain the strongest, most effective instruction possible. Please pray for us that this—a Christ-centered, nurturing learning environment—will be attained throughout the entire school year.
