Welcome Back from Spring Break! I hope your family enjoyed the break and the celebration of our Lord’s Resurrection Day. I am excited to be back and see all of our students rested and ready to learn.
REGISTRATION FEES & FACTS FORMS??
The deadline for registration fees and FACTS forms for all returning CCA students has passed. Please remember that seating is limited and only your payment secures a seat for the 2009 – 2010 school year. Please plan to pay your registration fees and return your FACTS forms ASAP, so that we may begin finalizing our enrollment for next year!
PARENT/PRINCIPAL MEET & GREET
Please plan to attend the following Meet & Greet sessions listed below. I look forward to meeting and talking with many of our families. The sessions will take place from 6 – 7 PM in Rooms F2 – F3 in the Fellowship Hall. 2 nd & 3 rd Grade –Tuesday, April 21 st, Pre-K & K – Thursday, April 23 rd , 5 th Grade – Tuesday, April 28 th, and 1 st Grade – Thursday, April 30 th .
PORTRAITS ARE “ON THE WAY”!
On Tuesday, April 21 st, the photographers from “Portraits On the Way” studios will be here for our Spring “Dress Up” day portraits. This is a great opportunity to let our kids “dress their best!” Please note: ONLY CHILDREN BUYING PORTRAITS ARE PERMITTED TO DRESS OUT OF UNIFORM THAT DAY!
CCA SUNDAY
Sunday, April 26 th is “CCA Sunday” here at Colonial Baptist Church. It is a special, annual celebration day when our school is showcased for the benefit of the church from which CCA was “birthed.” At the 8 AM service, our children will sing and lead in certain parts of the worship service. At both the 8 AM and 11 AM service, CCA’s first commercial will be shown. We will also have a parent testimony at each service. Don’t miss this exciting event! Please plan to come and support CCA!
UNIFORM SIZING
Our representative from Arthur’s Uniforms will be here at CCA for Uniform Measurement Day on Friday, April 24 th from 9 – 10 AM.
ROBOTICS CLASS
Due to the choir practicing for CCA Sunday, Robotics class will be canceled next week, April 23 rd and will resume the following week.
CHOIR
The choir will have their last rehearsal Thursday, April 23 rd. The Choir will perform Sunday, April 26 th, at the 8 AM “CCA Sunday” service at Colonial Baptist Church.
VACATION STATION ORDERS
It is time already to think about Summer Workbooks. Vacation Station Summer Workbooks sharpen skills and help prevent boredom with just a page or two each day and are designed to challenge students with activities linked to the grade your child will attend in September. We need your order returned to us by Friday, May 1 st . The cost is $21.00. See the attached flier.

MOVIE NIGHT (Friday, May 1 st) has been cancelled, due to limited releases of movies.
Join us at the Colonial Christian Academy PTF 2 nd Roller Skating Fundraiser, Saturday May 2 nd from 4:30 – 6:30 PM at Orchard Skateland. Ms. Murray will be there with skates on! Tickets will be on sale Mondays and Fridays from 3:30 – 6:00 PM in Room 6 until all tickets are sold. Remember that it is first come, first served. There are only 36 tickets left! CCA PTF will be hosting a Family Fun Day on April 25 th. We are still in need of many volunteers to make this an exciting and fun time for our students. Please send in the slip attached to say that you will be able to help out with this exciting event for our students, families, and prospective students.
